Therapy

God is GOOD. Seriously, I'm being serious. Last night I was invited to my friend Abigail's grandma's house (kind of a big deal haha) for a sleepover and stuff with 6 other girls. We got to do our laundry- for FREE! Which was great cause I'm out of detergent! We made omlets. Cookies and brownies. Ate SO much fruit. Did our nails. Watched three movies. All slept on the floor together. Woke up and had swedish pancakes- with coconut syrup! Yikes almighty it was delicious!- and just enjoyed life. It was so nice to be in a house again! But the best part was around 8 pm when the brownies were still baking. Abigail made us go on a walk up the street a bit- it was a sloping steet so we went up a little hill. We sat at the top of this house's driveway and we could see the city. So many lights. So many buildings. The weather was perfect. We were together. And it was just amazing. We just had the need to be quiet. And not say anything. My friend Annie (prayer warrior if I've ever met one) suggested that we pray. And we each did. We each prayed what was on our hearts and each time one of us did, we knew each other a little bit more. It just blew my mind that God had brought me to that place. With these girls that I met in August and have grown amazingly close to. And in the midst of all that was going on in our lives- we're all stressed and stretched past our limits right now- we were just so... thankful to be there and that we had each other. It was seriously the best moment. And when we woke up and after breakfast, we sat on the porch swing and drank our coffee.

I think it's when you just stop and take in those kind of moments that make life worth while. While we're all at college striving to do God's will in our lives, that moment was also His will. Each day needs to be lived as if God has called us to that day.

These are my girls! Couch: Cheyenne, Lisa, Abigail, Annie. Floor: Aly, Heather, Me... duh. We're cuddlers. Couldn't tell huh? Haha.

Us and everything good for a sleepover! Barely any cookies were made because well... how does one resist cookie dough? Especially when we're seven 19 year old girls:
